We
celebrated our 70th anniversary in March (2006). Some of our
members joined the Club 50 years ago. They've seen lots of
changes in the world, but what they haven't seen is the focus of
Rotary change. The Club has always been about "Service Above
Self" - and that is not a motto - it is a way of life.
We expect our member to pitch in, to be
involved, and to attend our weekly meetings. One of our
members, Art Welsh (Dairy Queen) often states "there's no
fellowship in an empty chair." When you join Rotary, you
become a vital part of the Rotary family. It's a
commitment we take seriously. As hard as we work, we make time
for fun. Great lunch, great programs, social events, and
local and world projects.
If you're interested in Rotary, or just
want to learn more, please contact us. Come to a meeting
or two, we'll make you sing (honest, we really do sing), and
you'll go back to work feeling good. We'll even pick up
the tab.
